Mentoring
Are you interested in being mentored?
Indigitek’s free mentoring program is aimed at establishing safe and sustainable mentoring for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people through both their STEAM learning (tertiary) and career pathways.
With Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander representation in STEAM being low, this has resulted in a low ongoing multi-generational representation and aspiration to pursue pathways and opportunities across these industry spaces.
Mentoring is an opportunity for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to gain real-life guidance and support from people (both Indigenous and non-Indigenous) who have already embarked on related STEAM pathways.
To be eligible to receive mentoring you must meet the following criteria:
Must be an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person
Must be 18 years of age, or above
Be currently studying or enrolled in a field that falls into the Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics (STEAM), or in a STEAM career pathway
Must agree to the Code of Conduct and standards of being a part of the Indigitek Mentoring Program.
